The quilt that started our little company. Kira designed this quilt for her first little baby girl - Gabriella. It can be used in a crib, but is large enough to transition to the new toddler beds. The alphabet is included so you can customize it for your little girl. This quilt uses the ‘quilt-as-you-go method’ -the batting is attached to each of the panels, so once you’ve completed the panels for the top the whole top you just need to attach the backing.
We’ve also tried to make it easier for you by:

1. pre-cutting each of the background sections
2. organizing all the appliqué pieces by color which saves on steam a seam – and makes it easier to iron them on and cut them out (we’ve also cut a piece of fabric - the exact size you will need for the appliqués)
3. we’ve included all the trims except the buttons (we’ll let you decide if it’s safe to put buttons on your quilt).

The kit includes most of the fabrics and trims you will need - the following items need to be purchased separately:

• 3 yards of 36” wide warm and natural batting
• 2 yards of 50” wide fabric (we used chocolate dimple cuddle from Shannon Fabrics)
• 3 yards of 12” wide Lite Steam-a-Seam® by the Warm Company
• 1 ½ yards of chocolate brown colored broadcloth
• Coordinating top-stitching threads – lime green, warm gold, hot pink and chocolate brown. Neutral colored thread for quilt construction.

Finished Measurements: Appx. 50” by 61”
